Benefits of the Card:
• Security:
The card offers added security through the following personalized restrictions:
1. Product restriction: 2. Geographical Zone restriction 3. Day & Time restriction
• Pre-authorized transactions:
The Bon Voyage offers a pre-authorized environment thus easing any delays that
maybe caused by telecommunication congestion or breakdowns.
Service is therefore guaranteed at all the stations no matter the location.
• No Entrance Fee charged: Unlike other card issuers the Bon Voyage Card will
not attract an entrance fee. There is a nominal card fee of Ksh one thousand only
which is a one off cost as the card does not expire.
Monitoring:
A function that enables you to set the limits on card usage either by product
type or amount. This can be defined further into daily, weekly and monthly monitoring.
A useful tool for internal control.
Warning Threshold:
A parameter set in the card that warns you whenever your credit balance is nearing completion.
The threshold level is set to warn you when you only have enough credit for one filling.
Management Information Systems:
You may request for consumption reports every 100kms.
This service is free of charge and is useful in determining your consumption rate
and points out any inefficiency in your vehicle
Credit Download:
You will be able to download a credit on to your card at any of the selected terminals
countrywide once it has been sent from the Card Centre.
This service is available at a fee.
If you are stranded anywhere in Kenya you can ask for a credit to be sent
to your pre-paid card account and you may download it at any Total/Elf station with a POS terminal.
Direct Credit Loading Credit:
May be loaded on to the card at any of the designated stations countrywide.
The cardholder deposits cash with the station/dealer and an equivalent value is
loaded on to the chip, this at no extra cost.
