A smaller and some may say better looking force has maintained its very high planting rates for
yet another year and added a major nursery and other related projects like honey production.
A gold award goes to the KENYA HIGH SCHOOL.

 

The next silver award goes to smaller numbers. But considering their limited land and
resources, an achievement of 20,000 trees in the year is phenomenal. For this, and unbounded
enthusiasm, the award goes to TARU SECONDARY SCHOOL.

 



In the middle of a desert, pupils have planted and nurtured an indigenous forest of 400 trees.
The next award goes north to Wajir, to the GRIFTU SECONDARY SCHOOL.


With the assistance of Barclays bank, a school is turning its compound into a miniature forest
planted by mentally handicapped children. For this Bronze Award goes to
THE GILGIL SPECIAL SCHOOL.
